Crystal Palace v Burnley: match preview

Crystal Palace emerged from a daunting run relatively chuffed by the points gained against Arsenal and Manchester United, though it has been their inability to beat the teams around them that has left them mired a point off the bottom and without a league victory since mid-September. This will be a seventh attempt to secure a first home win, a dreadful record that has Palace only marginally better off than this time last year. Burnley, winless in six themselves, are only below Palace on goal difference. It is tempting to suggest something will have to give at Selhurst Park. Dominic Fifield
